Naked Products
Our cosmetics are packaged 'naked' (have no outer boxes or plastic). 2 million outer product boxes & plastic wrap have been prevented from landfill

Zero Waste Refills
Our beauty refills use up to 90% less plastic than manufacturing more cosmetic packaging. 130,000 cosmetic pots have been reused & saved from landfill.

Product Sampling
To help minimise unnecessary landfill Adorn has sold product samples since 2008. 396,080 have been sold since 2009 which potentially means the equivalent full sized products have been prevented from landfill. The sample packaging can be sent back to Adorn for recycling with Terracycle OR for most customers they are re-purposed as travel size pots. ting resources

Cruelty Free Tools
Over 70,000 vegan brushes have been sold. Using synthetic bristles means less demand for animal hair and less animal cruelty.
2014
Plastic Wrap Elimination
Since 2014 we have saved approximately 336,000m / 336 km (42,000 m / 42 km per year) of plastic bubble wrap by switching to wrapping orders in biodegradable paper wrap. Customers reuse this paper wrap for their own gifting or given to schools for arts and crafts and we LOVE that!
2019
Plastic Bag Elimination
In 2019 we switched from Aus Post plastic postal satchels and started using compostable postal bags from Hero Packaging. So far, we have saved 160,968 plastic postal bags from ending up in landfill. Customers are encouraged to support our zero waste commitment by re-using our postal bags to return their empty ‘non-refillable’ Adorn packaging to our HQ in Melbourne. This packaging is then sent to Terracycle to recycle into other plastic goods.
2020
Recycle + Repurpose.
2 years post providing our zero waste initiative through Terracycle, approximately 2000 empty Adorn products have been recycled.
2023
Circular Beauty Pioneer
In our 15 year history spearheading sustainability in the beauty industry, over 155,000 Adorn plastic pots & bottles have been reused due to our refill program.
